Kempton Tips: Silver Mountain
Winning run came to an end after he failed to settle behind a steady pace. Not one to give up on yet, lightly raced and still progressive.
Silver Mountain’s winning run came to an end at Kempton but he is still feasibly treated by the handicapper and could resume his upwards curve in the 8.30 contest.
Last time out he failed to settle behind a pedestrian gallop (117% finishing speed) and expended energy by pulling hard. This meant he had little left in the tank for the sprint finish but he still ran the third fastest closing sectional.
This evening he drops down in grade and with Richard Hughes an eye-catching booking (16% strike rate of John Jenkins) he could out run his odds.
