Kempton Tips: Seven Lucky Seven
Travelled liked the best horse but found his path blocked when trying to challenge.
Seven Lucky Seven was an ‘old-fashioned’ eye-catcher on his last start, travelling nicely but not getting a gap until the race was over.
Granted a clear run he would have gone close to winning and can gain compensation in the 3.40 Kempton.
To his credit, Seven Lucky Seven closed at Wolverhampton from behind an even gallop. The front-runners weren’t slowing down as a 103.1% finishing speed confirms, so he did well to pass as many rivals as he did.
There should be more to come on only his fifth start for Michael Herrington, especially over a trip where he has previously been successful.
