Kempton Racing Tips: Saturn Way

His best runs have come after a long layoff. This previous course and distance winner should be at his best after an 81-day break.

Horses that suffer from bleeding problems are often best backed when fresh, and after an 81 day layoff now is the time to get on Saturn Way in the 7.20 at Kempton. Last time he tackled course and distance in May he won, and that was after a six-month break.

A horse who likes to track the pace, he is ideally drawn in stall three and both his wins have come over today’s trip of seven furlongs.

Despite the big field the pace should be no more than moderate, which isn’t ideal for the favourite Trojan Rocket who needs a good gallop. If Liam Keniry can hold his good position from the gate then the 8/1 (Skybet) on Saturn Way looks big.
