Kempton Tips: Rambo Will

Ignore his last run as he pulled too hard in a slow race. Well drawn and will have a much stronger pace to aim at today.

The 6.35 Kempton is a strong looking handicap for the grade with several lively contenders. Yankee Storm was desperately unlucky last time at Lingfield; badly hampered on the rail he should have won the race. Unfortunately, everyone saw that run and he is no price as a result. Having backed him at big odds last time the opportunity has been missed, he is no value this time round.

The Wee Chief also caused me frustration when putting in a marked improvement to collar Picansort at Lingfield. A wind operation over the winter has helped him and that leaves him open to further improvement. He is a big danger but his price reflects everything we know about him.

Rambo Will is the horse that excites me the most and at 17/2 (BetVictor) he is the biggest price of the trio. Well drawn in stall two, he has the perfect position to sit behind the likely pacesetter Best Trip.

Last time out he pulled very hard, compromising his chances in a slowly run race. Previously he ran a blinder to finish second at Southwell despite racing from a dreadful draw. A winner in 3 of his 16 starts, there might be more to come from this progressive sprinter.
