Kempton Tips: Pintrada
Beaten a short-head on his last start but the moral victor considering nothing went right for him.
In the last fortnight you’d struggle to find an unluckier horse on the all-weather than Pintrada.
Last time out at Wolverhampton he was beaten by a short-head in a race where very little went his way.
Held-up in rear after a slow start, he was poorly positioned in a race run at a steady gallop. The final 2f finishing speed was 106% of the average race speed, which means the leaders were quickening at the finish.
Pintrada therefore did exceptionally well to rally; covering the final 2f in under 24.0s despite finding his path blocked a furlong from home.
A better start, stronger pace or a clear passage would have seen him win and therefore he must be of interest off a 2lb higher mark.
