Kempton Tips: New Rich
Four-time course and distance winner who has been running consistently well for several months. Is 6/27 in class 6 contests.
New Rich is a consistent performer at this level and is a big price for the 8.55 Kempton considering it is his favourite track.
His strike rate in class 6 races is 6/27 with a further 7 placed efforts to his name and he drops down in grade after racing in a class 5 handicap last time.
Eve Johnson Houghton’s sprinter has largely been in form all winter. He earned a massive sectional adjusted rating of 80 when winning at Lingfield just three starts back and followed it up with a solid second place over course and distance.
He is 2lbs above his last winning mark but that shouldn’t make a massive difference. He is racing in the right grade and is a four-time course and distance winner. The 12/1 (William Hill) is simply too big.
