Kempton Racing Tips: Main Beach
Easy winner over course and distance 12 days ago, this is no harder.
Unbeaten at all-weather sprinting, Main Beach can make it three from three in the 6.30 at Kempton. Twelve days ago he won an almost identical race over course and distance with consummate ease. When the gap eventually came he powered home to win by a length, but the jockey had plenty more in hand.
On form alone he should be near the 2/1 mark but stall 11 is considered a negative and the bookmakers have priced him up at 11/2 (Betfred). The high draw shouldn’t be an issue for the horse as he likes to come from off the pace. Expect Stevie Donohoe to manoeuvre his horse onto the rail at the back of the pack. Having only his tenth start, this horse looks a cut above his rivals.
