Kempton Tips: Mac Gille Eoin

With a muddling pace forecast in the 4.10 Kempton I wouldn’t want to be backing anything drawn high. If they track the leaders they will be forced to race wide, if they take a pull they’ll find themselves too far back in the pack.

Drawn in stall 5 - Mac Gille Eoin is the best bet. He did the business for us on Friday with a comfortable win and looks a horse back on the upgrade. He’s now run three good races in a row for his new trainer and although he carries top weight, he is the class act in the field.

Throughout his career, he has been competitive in class 3 handicaps off a mark in the mid-80s. Nothing in the field can match this apart from perhaps Beat The Bell, who ran poorly last time out.

Bang in-form, Mac Gille Eoin looks like the winner at 7/2 (Stan James).
