Kempton Horse Racing Tips: Lutine Charlie
Course and distance winner two runs ago and one of the few horses in form.
Returning after a 244-day break, I’m not sure what to make of the favourite - Perfect Act in the 6.10 at Kempton. She has won off a similar layoff before, but why run her straight away in a claimer? Either connections know she is not as good as she used to be, or they want to give her an easy start. I don’t know the answer and at 9/4 I’m not going to guess.
At 7/1 (Ladbrokes) Lutine Charlie is a better bet. Two starts ago he won over course and distance in a good time for the grade. He followed up with a second place at Lingfield proving he is in good heart.
He is reasonably drawn, the Ron Harris yard are going well, and he looks to have a good chance.
