Kempton Tips: Le King Beau

Tumbled down the weights since his juvenile days but at least knows how to win and is well drawn.

Nothing much the get enthused about today but Le King Beau looks slightly overpriced in the 5.00 Kempton.

As you would expect from a class 7 handicap the field is full of horses with limited ability who struggle to win. At least Le King Beau knows where the finishing line is, having won 4 of his 26 starts, although all came in his 2-year-old season.

John Bridger’s charge has tumbled down the weights since his successful juvenile career but three starts ago he hinted that some ability remained. He finished upsides some 60+ rated horses in a Lingfield seller, which at this level counts as good form.

Well drawn in stall 3 and with Adam Kirby on-board he could run a bit better than his 14/1 (Bet365) quote.
