Kempton Tips: Lancelot Du Lac
Unlucky third in a Listed sprint when left with too much ground to make up from the rear.
Dean Ivory has enjoyed an excellent year with his sprinters and he’s got another progressive type in Lancelot Du Lac.
The 3-year-old finished third in a Listed sprint at Lingfield on his last start but he was unlucky not to win. From a wide draw he was forced to slot in at the back of the pack, leaving himself too much ground to make up on the leaders.
A combination of a better draw and Kempton’s longer home straight should help him overcome any traffic problems and at 2/1 (Paddy Power) he looks a solid bet.
