Kempton Tips: Golden Tempest

Shaped as if still in good form, when third on her last start. Has a strong record at the track and well drawn.

Golden Tempest can capitalise on a favourable draw to win the 7.30 Kempton.

She finished a good third over a mile at Kempton last time out and might have won with a better start. She went down by 1.5 lengths, approximately the distance she lost at the gates when slowly into stride. Previously she had won over a mile at Sandown, suggesting that she is in good form.

A return to 7f isn’t a worry, she’s won at the distance before, and her record at Kempton is excellent. Two wins and three placed efforts from only 9 starts, is a good return.

Racing off a mark of 80, she doesn’t look badly handicapped and in a race with plenty of positives she rates the best bet at 10/1 (Paddy Power)
