Kempton Tips: Gabbiano
Will benefit from the likely strong pace and has been running well all summer in a higher grade.
There is plenty of early pace in the field of the 8.35 Kempton and the race could set up for a closer.
Dutch Interior was the beneficiary of a pace collapse 12 days ago but that was in a class 5 handicap, he is up in grade this evening.
Gabbiano is proven at this level and the way he has run this season, there is a win in him. He’s not been beaten by more than 3.75 lengths in his last five starts most of them coming in a higher grade.
Last time out at Ascot he travelled well over an inadequate 5f and he should relish tonight’s step up in trip. He is a previous course and distance winner and a good bet at 7/1 (William Hill).
