Kempton Tips: First Rebellion
Run three good races in a row on the all-weather, good enough to win at this basement level.
The 8.00 Kempton is about as weak a race as you can get, with very few horses holding any sort of form. First Rebellion is one of the few exceptions, having run three good races on the all-weather this winter.
He started his all-weather campaign with a close third at Wolverhampton. From a wide draw he did well to finish only one length behind the winner.
Things got a bit tougher on his second start when he found a few too good in a 0-60 handicap, but he bounced back to form when dropped in grade at Kempton, only going down by 0.25 lengths to the in-form Beach Candy.
Having strung together three respectable runs he is one of the few horses to hold genuine claims at 4/1 (Paddy Power).
