Kempton Tips: Dvinsky

It is unfortunate that we have lost so much quality racing over the weekend however the 3.30 Kempton goes ahead and we are lucky to be able to enjoy it on Channel 4.

Dvinsky is having is 223rd start and having won 19 races during his career he is a stalwart of the sprint-handicapping scene. It would be fitting if he could deliver his 20th victory in front of his biggest audience.

His chances are actually pretty good. For starters he is well drawn in stall 4, a rarity for Dvinsky as he usually doesn’t get much luck with the draw. In 17 starts over course and distance, he’s only been drawn in the bottom four stalls on four occasions, with finishes of 1725.

With 10 of his career victories coming at Kempton, it is by far his favourite track and although he was well beaten on his last start, he takes a big drop in class today. With slow starters on his inside, he could get a soft lead and make all at 12/1 (Bet365).
