Kempton Tips: Docofthebay
Fallen to a competitive handicap mark and finished second last time out.
The 7.20 Kempton is a cracking little contest with several in-form horses. With plenty of pace on offer and a good draw in stall 2, Docofthebay could land the spoils.
He’s not won for well over a year but has looked badly handicapped for most of that period. I don’t think he’s lost any of his ability, it’s just taken a while to get him back racing in his correct grade.
Last time out he finished second in a class 4 handicap; racing in the same grade tonight, he can go one better. He probably needed the run at Lingfield, having been off the track for six weeks. With that race sharpness and the stable going well he looks overpriced at 10/1 (Bet365).
