Kempton Tips: Amosite
Well drawn to attack, and close second on last start over 7f.
With Kempton the only meeting surviving the weather in the UK, betting opportunities are limited this weekend. With the complexion of races likely to change with the inevitable swath of non-runners it is prudent to be cautious with your staking.
Having said all this Amosite looks overpriced in the 1.45 Kempton and is worthy of a small wager.
She is a pretty straight-forward ride, Patrick Hills will blast from the gates and try and make all. Drawn in stall 2, she is well berthed and likely to get an easy lead. The big question is whether she can last home over 7f.
Two starts ago she was caught in the shadow of the post, dead-heating with Glastonberry for second place. Considering that horse is 15/8 favourite, whereas Amosite is 12/1 (Stan James), it is obvious where the value lies.
