Kempton Tip: Tislaam

Rarely out of the top three at Kempton. He arrives on the back of an unlucky second last time.

With summer officially over we will see plenty more all weather action in the coming months. One horse to keep an eye on at Kempton is Tislaam. His record over six furlongs at the track is 121832. That 8th place can be ignored as he was returning after an 80-day layoff.  It is fair to say that Alan McCabe’s grey is a course specialist.

Last time out he was unlucky to finish second, behind the well handicapped Earlsmedic. The pace wasn’t quick enough for Tislaam that day and he stumbled as the field bunched around the bend.

Nezami should make the running today and if there is a strong gallop then I can’t see Tislaam losing. Three runs ago he placed in a 0-85 contest, today he races in a 0-70, he should be good enough to win the race.
