Kempton Tip: Bobbyow

There are some bigger fields on the all-weather today creating some good betting opportunities starting with the 2.20 at Kempton.

A low quality race, with little to recommend any of the runners, but there is hope for Bobbyow. He is lightly raced, recently gelded and changed yards at the end of January. A combination of these three factors gives him more scope than anything else in the race.

A week ago at Lingfield he put in a career best performance to finish half a length behind Do More Business in a moderate handicap. He made the running that day before tiring at the finish. Dropping back in trip and well berthed in stall two, he has the pace to take advantage of the draw bias at Kempton.

Small positives can make the difference in this lowly grade, where the horses are very evenly matched. At 7/1 (BetVictor) he is the horse to side with.
