Kempton Races Tips: Silver Turn

Unlike many of these, has shown some half-decent form this season. A repeat of the run that brought a Windsor second would put her in contention.

The 6.50 at Kempton is a weak race, as you would expect for a seller; most of these horses have become disappointing. Of all the runners the one I would bid for is Silver Turn, and at 16/1 (Bet365) she looks the value bet too.

Only three-years-old, she still has time to progress and should move beyond this grade in future. On he first run for Jeremy Gask she finished second at Windsor in a class five handicap, recording a good speed figure in the process.

Her most recent appearance at Lingfield in October was disappointing, but there were mitigating circumstances. It was her first run in 80 days and she was forced very wide around the bend. Forgive that run and focus on her Windsor form and she has a better chance than the odds suggest.
