Kempton Races Tip: Onceuponatime

In a wide open race such as the 9.00 at Kempton small margins can make all the difference. Drawn in stall one Onceaponatime must take advantage of the Kempton draw bias. The closer you are drawn to the inside rail the bigger the advantage, with stall one winning 1.82 times more than it should.
A regular winner on the all weather Onceaponatime has dropped to a handicap rating where he should capitalise. A winner off 15lbs higher, the horse is down to his lowest winning mark.
Two runs ago he did well to dead heat for third after being drawn wide and having an interrupted passage. Behind Italian Tom that day, he should easily reverse the placings. Champion jockey Paul Hanagan rarely makes the journey to Kempton, the fact he is bothering this afternoon suggests he likes his chances.
