Kempton Horse Racing Tips: Master of Disguise

A smart sprinter who is returning to form after a long layoff. He should be too good for this lot.

It’s sales time in the racing world and whilst unraced horses exchange hands for hundreds of thousands of pounds the best bit of business this autumn was struck in a Wolverhampton claimer.

Brian Baugh acquired Master of Disguise for just £5,000 after winning a claimer 11 days ago. It was only his second start in two years but if the horse is over his injury problems, he could be an excellent purchase.  Once rated 95, he looked a smart prospect, winning some valuable sprints as a three-year-old.

On his return to racing in September, he was a fast finishing second behind Deerslayer. The race was run in a quick time and it was an encouraging return. He built on that by winning at Wolverhampton, again in a good time. One good performance might be considered a one-off but he is putting together a string of good runs. It looks like he is getting back to his best and that should be enough to win the 5.30 at Kempton.
