Iffranesia A Revelation On The All-Weather

Record on the all-weather is 1122 and could be called unlucky in both her defeats.

The 5.00 Wolverhampton is a good race to bet in because the paper favourite is opposable. Sir Geoffrey’s best form is on fibresand and carrying plenty of weight against useful opposition he must be taken on.

Little Choosey has a squeak on her best form but might need the run after a break therefore I’m siding with Iffranesia instead.

Her form in France was moderate but she’s been a revelation on the all-weather for trainer Robert Cowell. He record on an artificial surface reads 1122 and she was unlucky in both defeats.

Last time out at Southwell she raced close to the unfavoured nearside rail and was checked in her run. The time before that she found herself in a bad position at Wolverhampton and her jockey was forced to forfeit ground and circumvent the pack.

Well drawn in stall 3, she can stalk the leaders and pounce in the home straight.
