Hamilton Tips: Bajan Bear

Finished first of the low drawn horses in the Ayr Bronze Cup and relishes these big field handicaps.

Bajan Bear finished tenth on his last start but he ran much better than the placings suggest.

The 6-year-old fell victim to the draw bias at Ayr’s Western Meeting. He finished best of the low drawn horses and ran as well as could be expected under the circumstances.

Bajan Bear has won twice since moving to Dandy Nicholls during the summer and is ideally suited by the strong pace generated in these big sprint handicaps.

He can quickly gain compensation at 13/2 (Stan James) in the 4.40 Hamilton.
