Goodwood Tip: Mata Hari Blue
Holding her form well and in much better shape than the rest of these low grade horses.
Several horses in the 8.10 at Goodwood struggle to win let alone run with any consistency. The most solid option is Mata Hari Blue.
Like many fillies and mares when she hits form she can go on a little run. She should be seeking a hat-trick but was caught on the line two runs ago after her young apprentice jockey mistimed his run.
A strong traveller, she is running times consistently good enough to win in the grade. Twice placed at the track, the undulating Goodwood course should hold no fears either.
Bermondsey Bob is her most likely challenger but she beat him by over six lengths last time out. The margin of victory might be closer this time but not enough to worry our tip.
