Epsom Tips: Haadeeth

Question marks over the track and the going but nothing arrives in better form.

The 2.15 Epsom is an awkward race. When looking for a potential bet I normally judge a horse on five criteria: draw, track, going, current form and ability. Several horses fit two or three criteria but there is nothing with the full house. Looking at the odds - I am going to take a chance with Haadeeth.

He has never raced at the track or on going this soft but he is a horse at the top of his game. He has won two of his last four races and but for a short-head it would have been three.

On his first turf start of the season, he made good progress from off the pace to win well. His margin of victory was only half a length but it would have been more if he hadn’t been hampered a furlong out.

Drawn close to the favoured stand’s rail, if he handles the going and the track he could go well at 16/1 (BetVictor).
