Epsom Tips: Iseemist
Had excuses last two starts, racing too hard from an unfavourable draw but still performing with credit.
Iseemist started the turf season by running really well in a Listed event at Bath, she’s not had things go her way since but the 7.15 Epsom is the perfect opportunity to gain a deserved win.
A perennial front-runner, she should be able to dominate a small field with no other obvious early pace. Last time out she tried to boss a 17-runner field from a wide draw at Epsom and predictably that didn’t work out well.
Two starts back she was only beaten 3 lengths in a Listed race at Nottingham. Again she helped set a solid gallop but raced wider than ideal, on a day when sticking close to the stand’s side was favoured.
The majority of her wins have come at 6f and having won this race last year this looks ideal for a horse who has just proven shy of Listed class.
