Chester Racing Tip: Falasteen

Showed blistering speed to win at Epsom and well drawn to attack again.

It is a well known fact that Chester has one of the biggest draw biases in the country, but it is worth reiterating when analysing the five furlong sprint at 3.30 .

Stalls one and two enjoy a large positive bias, being drawn on the inside means you can race the shortest way round. If you are drawn higher than four life starts to get difficult and it is practically impossible to win from stall nine or above.

To find the winner we must focus on the lowest four stalls:

Stall 1: Moorhouse Lad
Has looked badly out of form for a while now. In two and a half years all he has managed to pick up is a small conditions event.

Stall 2: Green Park
Needs softer ground in a lower grade.

Stall 3: Noverre To Go
Better over six furlongs and showed nothing on his reappearance.

Stall 4: Falasteen: 9/2
A switch to Dandy Nicholls has revitalised this sprinter. The early pace he showed to win at Epsom last time was outstanding. It was a decent field yet no one could live with him. He has won 5 of his 18 turf starts and if he bounces out of the gates they won’t see which way he went.
