Chelmsford Tips: Kodafine
Showed enough early speed to match strides with a mid-90s rated sprinter at Kempton.
Kodafine first caught the eye at Kempton in November when she matched strides with Trojan Rocket for five furlongs. Ultimately she couldn’t sustain the pace and finished a tired fifth but it was no mean effort considering she was racing a mid-90s rated horse.
Last time out at Wolverhampton she fluffed the start and never got into the race, plugging on for sixth after racing wide.
The visor is left off this afternoon (a possible cause of the slow start) and if she returns to front-running tactics she could prove difficult to peg back.
