Bravo Zolo Still Improving
Record on the all-weather is 11123 and slightly unlucky last time when clocking the fastest closing sectional of the meeting.
The 4.00 Wolverhampton is a cracking little contest, which should liven up a dull Monday afternoon. Bravo Zolo has finished 11123 in five starts on the all-weather and looks capable of winning off a career high mark of 97.
The 4-year-old is lightly raced and this will be only his third start since late June last year. So far he has run two crackers in defeat and should be spot on for this.
Last time out he gave good horses too much of a lead in a steadily run contest and despite clocking the fastest closing sectional, he couldn’t make up enough ground into a quickening pace.
His 22.12s sectional was the fastest on the card and given a stronger pace or longer trip the result may have been different. This afternoon he steps up to 9.5f and given his progressive profile, he can win at 2/1 (Boylesports).
