Alpha Tauri To Star At Southwell

Been in good form lately but for some strange reason the handicapper has eased him 2lbs meaning he can take a drop in class.

The market for the 4.50 Southwell is structured around a couple of horses I find readily opposable.

Grace Hull is a consistent sort but she tends to hit a flat spot in her races and prefers finishing second to first.

Having backed Art Dzeko last time out I was pleased to see him win but he made hard work of matters. He scrambled home by a length and recorded a poor time despite getting the run of the race.

The horse that interests me most is Alpha Tauri. He won over course and distance in December and has run well on his last two starts, getting within 2.25 lengths of the winner.

Despite this the handicapper has dropped him 2lbs which means he is eligible for 0-65 contests.

Last time out he set up the race of Elusive Hawk, my sectional timings say he went off too quick before tiring in the final 2f (finishing speed of 98.9%).

In an easier race, he should be able to dictate affairs from the front and win.
