WGC Match Play Betting: Kaymer Hardens as Favourite
Kaymer and Donald head the betting for the WGC Match Play as we reach the quarter finals.
Martin Kaymer has hardened as 3/1 favourite for the WGC Match Play. Not at his brilliant best he was still good enough to beat Hunter Mahan 2&1. The match had threatened to be closer, but like at Celtic Manor the American’s short game let him down when he duffed a chip on 17.
Luke Donald was a comfortable 3&2 winner over Matteo Manassero and is now 9/2 second favourite. In such a gruelling tournament physically and mentally it is worth noting that Donald has yet to be behind in any of his matches.
Americans fill the next three spots in the betting with Spaniard, Miguel A Jimenez the outsider at 12/1.
