WGC Match Play Betting: Jones Bracket
There is one golfer whose current form should dominate what is the weakest of the four brackets.
I’m shocked to see Nick Watney at 8/1 to win this soft bracket. He beat Lee Westwood on the way to the Quarter Finals last year and his progress should be fairly similar this year.
If he beats the erratic Anthony Kim in the first round he will face Westwood again in the second round, a round that the World Number 1 has never passed.
When it comes to 2011 form, Watney is really flying. Three top six finishes in three tournaments is electric form and if it wasn’t for a poor third round at Pebble Beach he could have won already. When a golfer is hot it pays to stay with them for a couple of months and Watney could be the hottest thing in the desert this week.
