US Masters Profiles: Justin Rose

Rose can almost slip under the radar.

Up to number three in the world yet slipping nicely under the radar.

Age: 32

World Ranking: 3

Major Wins: 0

Augusta Record: Never missed the cut in seven visits, and has sometimes found himself on the fringes of contention. A best finish of T5 in 2007, and a T8 last year made it a fourth top-20 here since 2007.

Form: Very promising. Not many players can match Rose’s consistently high levels of performance which have brought three consecutive top-10 finishes heading into the Masters. He was second to Tiger at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last time out.

Verdict: The best player not really being talked about in the world right now. You don’t fluke your way to number three in the rankings. Furthermore, his best ever major finish was his last one - a T3 in the US PGA Championship when he was over-shadowed by McIlroy.
