US Master: Rory McIlroy Odds On

Rory Mcilro

The young Ulsterman has a four shot lead going into the final round of the Masters and the bookmakers make him odds on to win.

For much of the day it looked like Rory McIlroy would rue missed putts, as he struggled to break away from the field. But three birdies in the last six holes ensures he has a four shot lead over his nearest rivals. A 10/3 chance at the start of the round, he is now 8/11 to win his first Major.

On ‘moving day’ it was Angel Cabrera and Adam Scott who shot up the leaderboard with rounds of 67. The Argentine former winner is 14/1 to don the green jacket again, whilst Australian Scott is 25/1.

It was a poor day for Tiger Woods who went backwards with a two over par, 74. He will need to conjure some magic on the final day as he lies seven shots back and is a 28/1 chance.
