Scintillating second half to 2012 once injury free. Can continue in that rich vein of form.
For Dustin Johnson, 2012 was a season of two halves. He started the year under an injury cloud and it wasn’t until June that he came back fully fit. Once back he made up for lost time, with a strong end to the season.

His average finishing position before the layoff was 26.2 but that improved to 22.2 in the second half of the season. Not only did his performances improve, but they came in tougher fields. He won the St. Jude Classic and finished in the top-10 in all four of the Playoffs events, boosting his average earnings per tournament figure.
Back to his best, Dustin Johnson should be judged on how he finished last season and that makes him just about the hottest property on tour. With finishes of 11-T16-T9 in this tournament, he will be keen to get 2013 off to a flier after the travails of early 2012. At 14/1 (BetVictor) he looks a good each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-4 finish.
