Shriners Hospitals Open Tips: Edward Loar

Ben Martin gave us a decent run for our money at the Frys.com Open and I am taking another chance with a Web.com Tour graduate in Edward Loar.
The 35-year-old finished fourth on the regular season money list winning once and recording six top-ten finishes in just 18 starts.
Not only is Loar buoyed by a return to the big time but he also has the game for TPC Summerlin. Last season he ranked first for par breakers and first for strokes gained putting, which is basically all you need in Las Vegas this week.
Loar also has course experience to call upon; he finished T26 at TPC Summerlin in 2012.
He might not have the potential of younger Web.com Tour grads but his game is ideally suited to this week’s challenge and at 250/1 (Betfred) he is a lively each-way bet with ¼ odds for at top-5 finish.
