Sanderson Farms Championship: Martin Flores
Finished T12 last year and enjoyed a productive season on the Web.com Tour winning for the first time and finishing fifth on the money list.
Having enjoyed four consecutive seasons on the PGA Tour it must have been a shock for Martin Flores stepping down in grade in 2016. However, the move to the Web.com Tour might have been a blessing in disguise.
The 34-year-old returns to the PGA Tour after finishing fifth on the money list and his confidence will be high after he recorded his first professional win at the Lincoln Land Charity Championship.
Flores will want a fast start to the wrap-around season and the Sanderson Farms Championship is an ideal opportunity to get some FedEx points whilst the big guns are elsewhere. Last season he finished T12 in Mississippi and hit 79% of greens in regulation. Although he missed the cut at the Safeway Open he finished T3 on his penultimate start and should go well at a course he knows.
Back Flores at 66/1 with Paddy Power and get an extra place with 1/5 odds for a top-6 finish.
