Phoenix Open Tips: Rickie Fowler

Finished T6-T6 in his last two tournaments. Averages almost three under par for his last 12 rounds at TPC Scottsdale.

Rickie Fowler showed great tenacity to fight back from an opening round of 77 at the Farmers last week to eventually finish T6. It was his second T6 of the year, highlighting the great form he is enjoying.

He should arrive at the Phoenix Open in good spirits, looking forward to a course he’s played well on. His record at TPC Scottsdale is: T58-2-T13-T26.

If you ignore his T58, which is forgivable as it was only his third start on tour, he’s played his last three Phoenix Opens at an average of 11-under par. That would normally be good enough for a top-10 finish.

With that kind of record Rickie Folwer is a cracking each-way bet at 16/1 (Bet365) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
