OHL Classic Tips: Cameron Tringale
Ranked fourth for driving accuracy at the McGladery Classic, which will stand him in good stead on this tricky course.
In a similar vein to our first pick, Cameron Tringale is another golfer who should be winning sooner rather than later.
The former Walker Cup player has all the attributes to become a top golfer. Last season he ranked 34th in the PGA Tour’s ‘all-around ranking’ and there are no obvious flaws to his game.
Tringale’s biggest strength is his accuracy. Last week at the McGladery Classic, he ranked fourth in fairways hit and although his putting can sometimes falter, avoiding trouble is the key on the El Camaleon golf course.
In a weak looking field Tringale is one of the more likely contenders and it is a surprise to see him quoted at 125/1 (Betfred).
