OHL Classic Tips: Will MacKenzie
Lost in a playoff at the McGladrey Classic two starts back and tends to peak at the beginning of the season.
Will MacKenzie started last season like a train, with nine top-20 finishes before the end of March but then hit the buffers and barely made a cut all summer.
The 40-year-old admitted he lost focus after his fast start but judging by his second place at the McGladrey Classic he’s got his head back in the game.
MacKenzie’s record at El Camaleon Golf Club is moving in the right direction with finishes of T56-T49-T12 and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t mirror last season’s good results.
At 60/1 (Bet365) he is a solid each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
