Results at Riviera are moving in the right direction with finishes of MC-T69-T46-T10. Yet to miss a cut this season.
There is no getting away from the fact that Riviera CC takes some getting used too. The last five winners all played at least 14 rounds prior to their victories and Brendan Steele is improving with experience.
The 31-year-old has finished MC-T69-T46-T10 in four visits to the course and is trending in the right direction.
Steele is yet to miss a cut this season and his all-round game is ideal for Riviera. He ranks 32nd in strokes gained tee-to-green and just an average week with the putter should suffice.
Last year he made only six bogeys and if he can throw in a couple more birdies then he should go close at 100/1 (Paddy Power).
