Haas Can Take Top Billing
Won in 2012 and finished third last year. Thrives on courses with a classic layout.
Having discussed the importance of course form in our trends article, Bill Haas is the obvious selection. He won at Riviera in 2012 and was leading going into the final round last year before finishing T3.
The 31-year-old has an excellent all-round game and excels on a classic layout. His last three wins have come at Congressional, Riviera and East Lake, ‘old-fashioned’ courses founded more than 90 years ago.
Haas is yet to miss a cut in seven starts during this wrap-around season and arrives at a course he loves in excellent form. With so much in his favour, he is an essential selection at 28/1 (Paddy Power).
