Joburg Open Tips: Maximilian Kieffer
Finished T26-T46-T32 in the Desert Swing and best days are ahead of him.
Shorn of big names, the Joburg Open is the perfect opportunity for a rising star of the European Tour to make his mark.
Maximilian Kieffer is in his third year on tour and looks set for a good season. The young German finished T26-T46-T32 in the Desert Swing and this will be the easiest test he has faced.
The 24-year-old has gone close before, losing a nine-hole playoff to Raphael Jacquelin in the 2013 Open de Espana.
Last year was slightly disappointing but Kieffer seems refreshed by a good winter break and the vibes were positive in an interview during the Dubai Desert Classic.
Kieffer finished T29 at the Joburg Open in 2013 and he should improve on that performance at 80/1 (Bet365).
