Jason Due A Big Pay Day

Finished T9 last year and plays his best golf on the big stage.

Jason Day can be a frustrating player to back because a man of his talents should have more than one PGA Tour victory to his name.

The 26-year-old performs best on a big stage and Torrey Pines is the type of course that should get his juices flowing.

For starters, Tiger Woods is in the field and Day will relish the opportunity to beat the world number 1 and 7-time winner of the event.

Last season the Queenslander fired a closing round of 66, the best of the weekend, to finish T9 and prove he can tame the monstrous South course.

Day also thrives on the big occasion, he recorded three top-10 finishes in the majors last year and in a high quality tournament, he looks a good each-way bet.

Although 33/1 is available I recommended backing him each-way at 30/1 with Paddy Power because they are going the extra place; ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
