Jaidee Mr Consistent in the Desert
Has good course form and in 34 ‘Desert Swing’ tournaments, he's made the cut 31 times.
Thongchai Jaidee has started the new European Tour season in fine form and can continue that run in Dubai. He has finished 9-T10-T33 in his last three starts, shooting only two rounds over par during that period.
The 44-year-old had a winning opportunity in Abu Dhabi when he started the final round four shots off the lead but he couldn’t get any momentum and had to settle for a top-ten finish.
Most importantly, Jaidee understands how to play these courses; in 34 ‘Desert Swing’ events he has made the cut 31 times. We are almost certain to get a run for our money making him an excellent each-way investment at 80/1 (Coral).
