BMW Championship Golf Tips: Matt Kuchar
Two top-tens in the last tow visits to Cog Hill, this is where Kuchar can make his move for the FedEx Cup.
After a major-less season Matt Kuchar will be desperate to win the FedEx Cup to put the seal on what has otherwise been another excellent year. Currently lying 3rd, he knows another two good finishes are needed to top the standings.
Of all the playoff venues Cog Hill will be the one Kuchar looks forward to most. Since the course redesign he has finished T10-T3, but if you go even further back a little nugget of information appears.
In 1997 a young Matt Kuchar won the US Amateur Champions at Cog Hill. A lot has changed since then, to both the golf course and the golfer, but he must have happy memories every time he returns.
With a good history and an even brighter future, I cannot see Matt Kuchar failing in this tournament.
