BMW Championship: Adam Scott
T1 for GIRs at the Deutsche Bank but let down by the flat stick. Even a lukewarm putter should see him go close.
Adam Scott finished off the pace at the Deutsche Bank last week but his T16 could have been so much better.
The Australian ranked T1 for GIRs over the four days despite an awful Thursday when he hit only 44% of greens.
But the main problem was on the greens.
Scott ranked a lowly 61st for strokes gained putting. Statistically it was his worst putting performance of the year, yet he only finished three strokes off fifth place and seven behind the winner.
Just a moderate week on the greens should see us profit on Adam Scott at 14/1 (Boylesports).
