WBA v Norwich Tip
Since 28 November, the Baggies have claimed one point to the Canaries' ten from four matches apiece.
Norwich City are on a remarkable run of form which has seen them go ten matches unbeaten (W6 D4) in the Premier League. They travel to a West Bromwich Albion side on Saturday who are winless in four (D1 L3). When you consider this stark contrast, best odds for the away victory of 10/3 (StanJames) are irresistible.
The reason for the turnaround at Carrow Road is hard to fathom. After the Canaries lost 5-2 to Liverpool then 4-1 to Chelsea, ‘second season syndrome’ were the words on everybody’s lips. But since that last league loss on 6 October, Chris Hughton has overseen triumphs over Arsenal, Stoke, Man Utd, Sunderland, Swansea and Wigan.
A month ago it was the Baggies taking all the plaudits for results well above expectation. But then out of nowhere the rot set in. A run of three defeats was ended on Sunday, only to be replaced by a sequence of three matches without scoring. With confidence such a potent factor in football, the odds are all wrong for this one.
