Canaries Not Off Their Perch Yet

The sides drew 1-1 at Carrow Road and Arsenal have only got worse since then.

The market is both underestimating Norwich and overestimating Arsenal in the late kick-off on Saturday. We can take advantage of this without even relying on the Canaries getting a point.

In the handicap markets Stan James offer sprightly best odds of 5/4 on Norwich +2 goals. This means we can profit whether the underdogs win, draw or lose by one.

This looks a likely prospect when you consider Norwich’s eight matches preceding the 3-0 loss to Sunderland last time out. Before that major setback, they hadn’t lose by more than a single goal in that entire sequence. They are generally competitive and still have plenty to play for.

Then factor in Arsenal who are stumbling towards Champions League qualification after three draws in four outings against West Ham, Palace and Sunderland. Two of those sides are down there with Saturday’s opponents.

You suspect Arsene Wenger would actually settle for a 1-goal margin of victory and they might not even get that at the Emirates against desperate opponents.
